Although I’m a Melbournian born and bred, I’ve had the pleasure of working in almost every corner of the globe, particularly Asia and the Pacific.
I’m now settled back into the city I know and love, but I’ll always have an insatiable appetite to discover the undiscovered.
Before founding Business Fundamentals, I spent 11 years at a global ASX listed company. During that time, I headed up the Emerging Markets business where I was responsible for a $1 billion portfolio and 1,600 staff across the Asia Pacific region. I was accountable for all functions – including marketing, business development, budgeting, risk and operations – I know what it takes to run a strong business.
I have always had an innate desire to help people and make a difference. That’s why I’ve founded my 20-year career on international development – by helping those less fortunate in developing countries.
As the years passed, I also discovered that I love helping business owners renew their passion, refine their purpose and boost their performance.
In this overly complex business world, I believe the answers are often a lot simpler than we think.
I’ve upheld diverse leadership positions over the years. And time and again I discover that the secret to success is in plain sight: other people. By learning how to get the best out of people, leaders can make good business so much better.
I’ve been on all sorts of boards and committees over the years, and most recently, joined the Advisory Board Centre, where we support entrepreneurs through commercially focused board structures and help organisations achieve their strategic visions.
